$50,000 food for think

Step Back Think has finalised its partnership with the Victorian Government’s Department of Community Development and Planning. In the coming months we will work closely with the DCDP’s Respect Agenda with a focus on creating new street violence awareness initiatives and education campaigns for 2011.

On October 6 the Step Back Think board met with the Minister for the Respect Agenda, Justin Madden, to formally finalise his $50,000 pledge to the group.

The Herald Sun reported on the meeting in today’s paper, however, they unfortunately got our name wrong, leaving off the all-important Think. Oops! Although a missing word in the title of our organisation won’t be slowing us down as we gear up to put the government’s cash to good use.

We also heard from a little bird that Step Back Think scored a commendation in parliament today for our all-round efforts, which is nice to know.
