Brett Murphy is the newest member of Step Back Think’s Board of Directors, taking over from long serving Chairman Dan Cronin. Dan has been part of SBT from the very beginning, and is one of the organisation’s founders. A huge thank you goes out to Dan who has committed so much time over the years to the SBT cause.
Dans successor Brett is currently Legal Counsel for the AFL Players Association. He joined the AFL PA after lengthy stints with Melbourne Law firms Maddocks and Herbert Geer.
Brett was headhunted by the Board of Directors in 2014 and voted chair of the Board to take SBT into 2015 and beyond.
Another www.healthcarewell.com/online-pharmacy/ inclusion to our Board is Dr Kate Fitz-Gibbon who joined towards the end of 2014.
Dr Kate Fitz-Gibbon is a lecturer and researcher in Criminology at Deakin University. Her research focuses on legal responses to lethal violence and ‘One-Punch’ homicides in Australia, and the effects of criminal law reform in Australian and international jurisdictions.
She has advised various government bodies on the law of homicide in several Australian jurisdictions, and recently published her first sole-authored book, ‘Homicide Law Reform, Gender and the Provocation Defense: A Comparative Perspective’ (Palgrave Macmillan).
